Comprehensive Hearing Tests

During an audiological evaluation, we are able to determine the severity and type of possible hearing loss as well as identify different medical problems that may require medical or surgical intervention. The audiologist will use a variety of test equipment to evaluate your auditory system. The total diagnostic and consultation takes approximately 45 minutes.

During the consultation period, the test results will be explained and rehabilitation options for hearing loss will be discussed. If a condition that requires medical attention is identified, a referral to a specialist will be made at that time.

Available tests include:

Hearing Help Options

A full line of amplification options are available to suit your medical and financial needs. Depending on your diagnosis, your audiology staff will assist you in identifying what aid is most appropriate for your lifestyle and hearing loss. Children may be referred for a speech and language or a developmental evaluation.

Hearing aid consultations are available. During your consultation, we will discuss basic components of the hearing aid, types of technology available, different styles as well as necessary maintenance. The appropriate hearing aid for your type of hearing loss will be selected.

Assistive listening devices and custom swim and noise plugs are also offered.
