Camino Medical Group is a multi-specialty medical group located in the heart of Silicon Valley, California. The Group provides medical services to residents of Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Los Altos, Mountain View, San Jose, Santa Clara and the surrounding areas of Santa Clara County.

Six physicians established Camino Medical Group in 1954 as the Sunnyvale Medical Clinic. Sunnyvale Medical Clinic grew to 29 physicians in 1971 and by 1986 had expanded to include 62 physicians. In 1985, Sunnyvale Medical Clinic opened its own outpatient surgery center. From 1986 through 1994, Sunnyvale Medical Clinic continued to expand. Full-service satellite locations were opened in Santa Clara, Los Altos and Cupertino, along with three additional sites in Sunnyvale dedicated to Occupational Medicine Services, Vision Care services and Infusion Therapy services. Today, Camino Medical Group has grown to more than 200 physicians.

Camino Medical Group became a not-for-profit division of Palo Alto Medical Foundation in June 2000. The affiliation agreement signed between Camino Medical Group and Palo Alto Medical Foundation is based on a shared commitment to providing high quality medical care, patient education, community service and research. As the Camino Division of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, Camino Medical Group will expand our service and information technology to better serve our communities while remaining focused on providing high quality medical care to our patients.

While much has changed in nearly a half-century history of Camino Medical Group, the basic concept of uncompromising quality and service to its patients remains constant and will continue to be our focus for future endeavors.
