Patients to Benefit from Cutting-Edge Imaging Technology
To correctly diagnose an injury or illness, CMG physicians use X-rays, CT scans, MRIs and other diagnostic imaging tools to "see" inside and get a "picture" of a patient's internal health. Soon CMG patients will have the benefit of access to cutting-edge imaging technology right here in the South Bay Area.
CMG's director of Diagnostic Imaging Services, Qumars Ahmadi, emphasizes that this new equipment is a significant gain for patient comfort, image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
"We are committed to earlier detection, high quality, accurate diagnoses and less aggressive procedures for all patients who need preventive and screening services or those who are affected by cancer, heart disease, strokes and other conditions," says Qumars. "Our board-certified radiologists and staff have extensive training and clinical expertise, which assures consistent, high-quality patient care in dealing with ordinary as well as rare and complex diseases."
Patients will see the difference. Rather than waiting for films to be developed and delivered, the digital images will be immediately available in exam rooms and can be instantly forwarded to a specialist or SurgiCenter.
CMG will be among the first out-patient clinics in northern California to offer:
- Breast care health center with same-day report, direct digital mammography with CAD, and breast MRI
- MRI, CT and ultrasound guided biopsies
- 18 channel whole-body MRI 3T
- Dedicated cardiac CT with dual X-ray tubes (128 Slices)
- Cardiac and vascular lab with 3-D imaging
- Latest imaging technology in obstetric and general ultrasound
- Direct digital radiography
- Digital fluoroscopy systems
- Nuclear Medicine
