Care that Fits Your Calendar
Your busy schedule and your doctor’s don’t always fit. That’s why Camino Medical Group (CMG) has the After Hours Primary Care Clinic – to give CMG patients access to the care they need from their own primary care physician at the most convenient time.
"We developed the After Hours program to extend the availability of many of our family and internal medicine physicians," says Susan Altweis, CMG’s director of primary care. "This service has become very popular with patients."
"People can schedule ahead for any primary care service they need," she adds. "For example, if a woman wants to come in on Sunday morning to have her Pap smear, she can do it."
Unlike CMG’s Urgent Care Clinic, the After Hours Clinic offers services by appointment only. The advantage: You get to see you own doctor when it is most convenient for you. At least 26 of CMG’s primary care physicians rotate through the program, so most CMG patients can see their personal physician.
The After Hours Clinic is located on the second floor of CMG’s new Mountain View Center, adjacent to the Family Medicine Department. Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Services include all routine care, such as physical exams, laboratory and X-ray. To make an appointment, call your primary care physician’s office. If he or she is not available in the After Hours Clinic, you can see another of CMG’s participating physicians. For more information visit After-Hours Primary Care.
