Nutrition Services
Staff
The diversity and flexibility of our staff have enabled us to meet the needs of the Camino Medical Group community. The Nutrition Services Department has developed a first-time appointment gestational diabetes class to accommodate the increase number of these patients. All follow-ups are always one-on-one.
If you are referred by one of our endocrinologists for insulin instruction for management of diabetes, the diabetes educators will make every effort to accommodate you by seeing you as soon as possible to instruct you on how to inject insulin. We provide this convenience to help reduce your anxiety, expedite your treatment, and increase your chance of success.
We have an excellent selection of education materials in all areas of nutrition and can customize materials to meet your needs. The department will work with your suggestions and ideas to deliver superior care and service to all nutrition patients.
Our staff makes every effort to keep up-to-date on the latest information on diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, medications and treatments for other nutritionally related diseases.
