Classes and Support
Camino Medical Group offers monthly Breastfeeding Your Newborn classes; it’s recommended for first-time mothers who plan to breastfeed. Learn about prenatal preparation for breastfeeding, handling the first days of feeding, managing breastfeeding and returning to work. You may register online or by calling 650-934-7373.
After your baby is born, if you need additional help and support, your doctor can refer you to our CMG lactation consultant, located on our Sunnyvale campus.
While in the hospital and after, be sure to take advantage of El Camino Hospital’s well trained nursing staff and the Maternal Connections Lactation Center. For more information, visit elcaminohospital.org or call 650-988-8287.
Additional postpartum support is available from a variety of sources and many are free.
