Pagers

Pagers are available for family members and friends. If you want to leave the waiting room area to get a cup of coffee or take a walk, feel free to request a pager from the front desk. You may also want to leave a contact number with the front desk.

Patient Status Board

The Patient Status Board in our lobby provides basic information regarding patient status. If you don't understand how to interpret the board, our receptionist would be happy to provide you with a quick reference card and/or additional information.

Procedure Times

Procedure start and duration times are approximations. In general, actual start and duration times run fairly close to those estimates. Occasionally, however, procedures may start earlier or later or may take shorter or longer than estimated. Please don't hesitate to ask for an update to estimated timeframes.

Communication Needs

For patients who don't speak English, or who have other special communication needs, we ask that a family member, friend or translator stay with the patient during the admission and recovery processes.

Minor Patients

If the patient is a minor (under age 18), one parent must stay in SurgiCenter premises throughout the child's stay.
